Absolute humidity refers to the actual value of the weight of water vapor contained in a unit volume of humid air.
Relative humidity (RH) refers to the percentage of water vapor pressure to saturated water vapor pressure in the air. It can also be said to be the ratio of the absolute humidity of humid air to the saturation humidity that can be reached at the same temperature.
Relative humidity=absolute humidity/saturated humidity×100%
For example: at 35℃, in the natural state, if 1 cubic meter of air actually contains 30 grams of water, the actual water content is absolute humidity. The table shows that the maximum water retention capacity (saturated humidity) of 1 cubic meter of air at 35°C is 32.2 grams. At this time, the relative humidity of this 1 cubic meter of air = 30/32.2 × 100% = 93.17%.
